The San Juan Ghost Walk tour was created by not only combing through old books, newspaper articles, and stories, but by interviewing the people who live and work in these establishments every day. Not just the "greatest hits for the tourists" but an authentic Puerto Rican experience. We are the original Puerto Rico haunted history tour company and have been operating on the island since 2019.

   El Convento Hotel

   The luxurious El Convento Hotel was originally dedicated as a Carmelite Convent in 1651. Wealthy widow Doña Ana Lanzós gave away all her worldly possessions and welcomed the nuns to make her house their home. This is your chance to meet the Ghostly Mother Superior.

   Teatro Tapia

   Operating since 1832, Teatro Tapia is the oldest continuously operated theater in the Americas. Investigated on the TV show Ghost Hunters International in 2011, the opulent exterior conceals a ghastly history as well as paranormal disturbances. Is the actress who fell to her death who haunts or those who died on the land which once held a gallows?

   Puerto Rico Tourism Company

   Once the oldest prison in Puerto Rico, this seemingly ordinary building was the site of Puerto Rico's last execution. Now the scene of ghostly encounters, significant evidence also exists that its rotting cells were also the site of cruel government experimentation on at least one inmate, the famous political dissident Pedro Albizu Campos.

   Casa Blanca

   Investigated by John Zaffis, the Haunted Collector in 2013. this residence designed for the famous Juan Ponce de León still contains secrets centuries old...

   Castillo San Felipe del Morro

   Built in the 1500s, and investigated by the TV show Ghost Hunters International in 2011, this fort defends San Juan Bay. Today it may shelter the spirits of Spanish soldiers and the Chinese immigrants who built it as well as a Lady in White said to glide along the ramparts near the lighthouse.

   Cemetario Santo Maria Magdalena de Pazzi

   Pay your respects. This sacred ground is the most beautiful cemetery in the Caribbean. The graveyard is the rumored burial ground of a notorious pirate, the forever home to the first Puerto Rican Academy Award winner, and home to the graves of many other of the island's most famous residents.

• ▸Some street parking is available but also there is a parking garage at 301 Calle Recinto Sur close to the meeting place.
• ▸This tour runs in light rain, so please dress accordingly and wear comfortable shoes.
• ▸The tour route is mostly wheelchair-accessible, just let us know if you plan on using one, so we can adjust the route appropriately for your comfort.
• ▸Because this is a limited capacity tour, all sales are final. But we will reschedule you if you have an emergency, we love ghosts, not monsters!
• ▸Service animals are welcome but for liability issues, please leave your furry friends at home.
• ▸Distance covered is 1.5 miles.
